Not my problem? Just because something doesn't happen to you, doesn't mean it isn't important. Apathy is one of the biggest problems in the world. I assume everybody knows about Vick's animal abuse and killing and shameful return to the NFL? That's what I was referring to, I could care less about the Eagles or his car website.

I am not a fan of Vick and abhor what he did, I also am a huge animal lover. However he did serve time, but I think animal abuse cases are way under-punished and it disgusts me that people gave him a shot in the NFL again after that. And this is an extension of that.

He went to jail, served his punishment and seems honestly remorseful about the dog scandal. Sure it was a terrible thing but to err is human; to forgive - divine.

No I pretty much agree with you, he did his time and I believe he gave some of his NFL pay to the Humane Society or some other animal charity, which is the least he could do. It's hard to know what is in somebody's heart, but Vick being remorseful seemed more like a PR line when he was trying to get a contract. And though not Christian, I do believe in forgiveness, at least in some capacity. His case was just so abhorrent, it's hard to disassociate that every time I hear his name. Hence the real reactionary post.

Vick is a cunt....these words are wasted on such a worthless human being. "He served his time" much the same as how lindsey lohan has served hers. He didn't just torture animals...he profited off of it which makes every thing he did exponentially worse. That man should be forced to put toothpicks under his toe nails and kick a wall every day for a year.

This may (or may not) be controversial, but I see animal abuse at his level a form of rape. It's taking advantage and ruining the innocence of something that normally is trusting and loving. I think the stigma and punishments should be in line with that.

I can agree with that but I think the punishment for rape is too lax. I would say the same thing and more should be done if his charge was rape. .eother way its super fucked up
